An international branch campus is defined as “an entity that is owned, at least in part, by a foreign education provider; operated in the name of the foreign education provider; and provides an entire academic program, substantially on site, leading to a degree awarded by the foreign education provider.” There are currently 249 entities that fit this definition.

Articulation agreements make smooth transfers from one institution to another possible while ensuring that students do not lose credits in the process. Effectively implemented, they essentially facilitate overcoming hurdles
